log onto incoming mail server

Get message that server will not accept user name and password. Have checked
it dozens of times. I can send messages but cannot receive. If it is not
going to accept the present user name and password, how do I start over with
a new user name and password. I do not have a CD as I paid my company for
the download.

Have you checked the ISP's website for the POP3 server information? Have you
contacted them about your username and password? Are there any send/receive
error messages/numbers?
