Hi,
I have a machine that was left for me to review contents of C: drive. I don't have the option to log on to local machine or a network only "Log on using dial-up" ... We are using an LAN, but I don't know if this machine was ever on the network... Also, I have tried all the log-in names/passwords I can think of and I can't get in.... How can I bypass the security screen and just get to the desktop or hard drive?

If it is XP boot with a 2000 cd
Or just slave it to another computer and browse away.

If it were so easy, what would be the point of using passwords at all?
Ask the user who last had the computer, duh!

simply try user: administrator with no password...

if that doesn't work, just slave the drive and poke away
