Hi All,

I have a remote office using VPN.

I had to format and restore a XP computer but this
computer don't ask for the DOMAIN anymore...just ask login
and password.... but I have to type the domain to have
access my network ,through VPN. How can I enable the
domain field in the logon screen withouot use the network
cable?

Tks,

Alex

You don't necessarily need to be a domain member to access a VPN, but
you need to connect via the VPN (by supplying your username with the
domain name appended to it - DOMAIN\USER and your password). Once
connected via the VPN, you can become a domain member by going to the
System Control Panel Applet, the Computer Name tab, and supply proper
domain information and credentials that will allow you to join the
domain.
