Log on As Administrator

After adding two users I can no longer logon as
administrator. It says the account is there although it
will not let me logon as administrator.

The user profile is likely corrupted. This will require you creating a new
user and copying the files from the old user to the new one as follows:

The system has a hidden administrator account, you need to log into that
account. Boot the system, if you are using XP Pro, hit ctrl-Alt-Delete
twice, type administrator in the user ID box and leave the password blank.

If you have Home Edition, boot into Safe Mode (F8 after the post test and
before
Windows starts. Once Windows starts loading, you've missed it and will have
to try again). You'll have an option to log on as Administrator. Again,
the same procedure, you'll be asked to log in to get into safe mode, type
administrator, leave the password blank and press enter.

Then, go to User Accounts in Control Panel, create a new user and copy the
user files, data files that are in the old user account to the new one.
