Log Off

I had a user today try and log off her computer when she logged off she saw
that she had a small squre graphic in the middle of her screen? What setting
would this be caused from if any? Can anyone shed some light?

Well It could be any thing like a hang application didn't shut down before
the user logged off, a security warning for an Error on the system and
windows would like the user to know about.
A video card going bad, best to look in the event viewer log to know if
there are any serious log error and track them down to know the culprit in
this.
Check the user eyesight is okay LOL.
