Log off glitch

P

Poseidon

I have two different user accounts on my computer, and have the option
enabled that allows me to switch users when I hit "Log off"... However, now
when I hit log off, it wants to log me off totally and doesnt allow me the
option of switching users. I figured out how to reverse it and give me the
option back, however whenever I restart my computer, it flip flops back and
in order to take advantage of the "switch user" option, I have to manually
enable it again.

Any help?

Hi Jim,

Did you install any network protocols recently? Certain ones do not support
FUS, and they will disable it when the system boots.

Hi,

Right-click your connection, choose properties. You should see installed
protocols on the general tab. Certain ones do not support FUS. If they are
installed, then you can't use it. Which protocols you actually need depend
on the type of network you are on or the type of connection you use.

What would be considered a network protocol? I am on a new network but Ive
been on it a few weeks without any trouble so far...

Right, but nothing of the sort has been installed to make this stop
working.. heh. I got on a new network three weeks ago, and this problem
began about 2 days ago.
