log in problem, seriously need fast help.

everytime i try to log in, it stops me with a box that says.. "Explorer.EXE -
Entry Point Not Found"
"The procedure entry point SHCreateThreadRef could not be located in the
dynamic link library SHLWAPI.dll" i really need to get this fixed. right
now im on a differant computer which doesnt have XP.

help?

Boot using the Windows XP install CD and do a repair (see method 2 at
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?id=315341). You might try
booting into Recovery Console mode to replace the files but it is likely
more than this is screwed up. After the repair or fix, be sure to run a
full scan using a recently updated anti-virus program and check for
malware and spyware using Ad-Aware and Spybot.
