Log in issues

I was working on a computer that was networked - I was taking it off the
network, deleting files from word, excel, etc. that need to be cleaned off
before we get rid of the computer. In the midst of this, I left the computer
and it was unplugged. I believe that I was in the area where you change
the network id or the area that list users and log in as administrator &
password. Now I can't log into the computer at all. No passwords work.
How can I get back into the computer to fix this?

You might try to reset the local Administrator
password with one of the methods mentioned here:
