Log files

My windows 2k is halting and i need to look in the log files to determine whats going on... How can i acomplish that??? I don't remember how to look the log files...

Assuming you mean the Event Log and such like, go into the computer's
management console (Right click on "My Computer" and choose "Manage").
The it's System Tools > Event Viewer

No, isn't there a log file that windows creates when it's starting,
so i can find where the system is halting...

I think you mean the manual option with ntbtlog.txt. When Windows starts you
have to press F8 and then start Windows manual with the boot-log option.
