I am helping a friend with thier computer. It is locking
up within a couple of minutes after booting. I had them
un hook the printer and now it runs for 40 minutes before
locking. I tried to run virus scan and everytime it gets
to the file windows\drivercache\1386\sp1 it locks up. Now
I am wondering if this is a corrupt file or if there is a
virus that won't let me through. Any suggestions?

Thanks Cindy

This is a CAB file so it is not very likely that it is infected. The
file usually also is not used very much, but viruses attack files that
are in use to make sure that they will be distributed furthermore.
I would move the file to another drive (if possible) and re-do the
scan.
