locked out of computer, forgot old password

Hi,

The passord has expired on our unit using XP Plus ...
In order to put in a new password, we needed to remember
the old one, which of course, we don't.

Is there a way to bypass this?

Firstly it's XP Pro.
Secondly, log in as administrator. At the welcome screen, press Ctl-Alt-Del
twice. You will see the W2K log-in box appear. If your XP was pre-installed,
then it is highly possible that the password is blank. Go to Control
Panel-Users and Accounts and re-set the password for the User.
