Bob

We have two hard drives and we have my documents on drive
D, they are set to only let certain users in certain
files. Drive C got a virus and we couldn't do anything so
we formated drive C (drive C also contained windows XP)
so we reinstalled windows XP on C so it's fresh new users
but they still kept the same names as soon as we
installed XP again and now it thinks we are trying to
hack drive D and wont let any users in the documents.
Help please?

right click on the drive and select properties. click security tab. click
advanced button, click over to Owner tab. select Administrators in Change
owner to: and check the bow under it "replce owner on containers and
objects and hit OK. If you get access denied or anything, just hit proceed
or continue.

let me know how that goes.

Tin,
