Locked database

In trying to figure out Accesses security features, I
locked myself out of an important database. When I try
to open the database and I enter my password, I get the
message: "You do not have the necessary permissions to
use the "MyDatabase.mdb" object. Have your system
administrator or the person who created this object
establish the appropriate permissions for you." How can
I give myself access to my database once again?

Try using a blank password.

If I enter an incorrect password, I get an error message
saying my username or password is incorrect.

Nathan,
When you set up the security, you did NOT create a
password. All user passwords are BLANK until you log on
and change it.
