Lock Workstation button disappeared

Oliver Becker

Hi,

i just reinstalled my Win XP Professional, updated and it's
still working fine. Just one little problem:
After pressing STRG + ALT + DEL, the tastmanager opens, but
there's no Button with "Lock Workstation". I can Shutdown
the Computer, Standby and so on, but the old Lock
Workstation button seems to be gone.
A shortcut with: %windir%\System32\rundll32.exe user32.dll,
LockWorkStation
already works, but i miss this button.
Any Ideas to get it back?

I think that's not a problem, you can choose change user,it does the same thing like locking workstation
If there's only one user, then when you choose change user, you can see the same screen like locking workstation.

if you go into the user acounts setup in controll panel and click change the way users log on, there uncheck the welcome screen option. you will have to type your user name when you log on, but you will get the 2000 style Ctrl-Alt-Del screen with lock computer butto
