Lock when exiting Remote Desktop

I have noticed that everytime you use the remote desktop
feature in windows xp and server 2003 that the local
computer doesn't see anything that's going on and their
account is locked, even after i'm finished and have
disconnected. Does anyone know of a way to keep remote
desktop from hiding what's going on (kinda like VNC or
any other remote control app) or at least unlocking the
computer when the remote user has disconnected? Thanks

The client machine goes black when being accessed by RDC.
When disconnecting the client machine returns to the login window requiring
login.
Don't know about "locking".

It's automatic.
