Locate Link Browser question?

T

Tommy Flynn

Lately, when I click on a link in an email message, I get a dialog box that says
"Locate Link Browser", but the link finally opens. I read somewhere that this
problem was caused by the Earth link DNS's. Is this correct or should I look
for another cause?

Thanks,

Tommy

The Locate Link Browser dialog box appears when you open a Web link in an
e-mail message in Outlook 2003

Thanks. I do have Outlook 2003 but this has only just started in the last
couple of weeks. It used to open in my browser (Firefox 2.0.0.3) without the
"Locate Link Browser" message. Also, when I open a desktop link, I get the
Windows message "Windows can not find http://www.***" but it opens anyway. This
has just started also. Is this a Windows thing or a Firefox thing?
