hi,

i had a dozen shortcut links to websites (dragged by mouse from IE address
bar) on my desktop which worked fine when IE was my default browser. Now my
default browser is Safari, and every time I click a link, I get "windows
cannot find 'http://whatever.com/'. make sure you typed the name
correctly... et al et al..."

the link does open up properly in Safari, but the error message keeps coming
up.

any suggestions would be appreciated...

Just drag new links from your new browser then delete the old
shortcuts/links and all will be fine (I hope)
