I try to rename the security file (the one with no
extension) and it did came back again with the log on
screen (the same problem). When I typed user
as "Administrator" and press Enter (blank password), a
message I received was " Unable to log you on because of
an account restriction". I remembered when I got into the
Recovery Console, Windows ask the administrator password,
when I typed my admin psswd (the psswd before the problem
occured), it returns invalid, then I just pressed enter
(without typing anything) it returns valid and I can log
to c: drive. I'm just thinking of changing (renaming or
deleting) the SAM file, would that solve the problem?

If you cannot access the computer via a LAN connection to
make the necessary Registry corrections, you are probably
faced with doing a paralell install (new install) so that
you can recover your data. A repair install will not
correct your issue, since it will not overwrite the
incorrect entries in the Registry.
The only other possibility that comes to mind is booting
the machine from the XP CD and entering Recovery Console.
If you can do that, you may be able to Rename or Delete
the SECURITY file in the Windows\System32\config folder.
Warning: This could make your situation worse, so I
would rename it, rather than delete it. The machine may
not even boot, with this file renamed or deleted. Note:
there are two SECURITY files. One with no extension (the
one you're concerned with) and the SECURITY.LOG file.
