Local host ping unsuccesfull

I have set up a wireless network between four computers all running XP Pro or
Home with SP2. The internet connection is meant to be by dial up through the
computer I will call "local host" (running XP Pro) which is connected to the
network through a hub to the Access Point. The three computers other than
"local host" can all see each other and share files, but they cannot see
"local host" or connect to the internet. In troubleshooting this I discovered
that while the "local host" can ping all other computers and the access point
it can not ping itself. Similarly the other computers can not ping the "local
host". I have tried the following without success:
1. Turning all firewalls off.
2. Restacking TCP/IP.
3. Removing and reloading the adaptor driver.
4. Changing the ethernet adapter.

All of the addresses are manually set in the same series.

Any ideas on the potential problem would be appreciated.
Thanks,
