I have applied a local group policy for my win xp pro. How
do I make this so that it doesn't apply to my local
administrator account?
Thanks...Renee

Create an OU for the local admin account and block all
inheritance so it will use the default GP. You would do
this either under the options tab for the GP or under the
advanced settings tab I believe.

Go to the Windows, System 32, Group Policy folder and set the security
permissions so that you don't have Read rights. This will prevent the
Local group policy from being applied when you log on. This will also
prevent you from editing the policy. When you need to do that just
grant yourself read, but don't folder to deny read when you are done!

I assume this is a computer that is not joined to a domain...
