I am the network administrator of a small network of about 50 users. Our
Servers are all 2003 and pc's all xp pro. The problem is that the domain
admin group was removed from one of the pc's local administrators group and
all that is left in the local admin group is the default administrator
account, but for some reason the local administrator password will not work
on this one pc. So i am trying to fgure a way to add either my domain account
or the domain admins group back into the local administrator group. Like
maybe a group policy or script or any other way. I just dont want to have to
wipe out this box. Any help or direction would be great thanks.

And now I think I made matters worse. I tried reseting the computer account
in Active Diretory with the hopes that when I rejoined the domain it would
automatically put thd Domain Admins Group back into the Local Administrators.
So to sum it up only the (local) Administrator account is the only user
account locally on the machine. And password doesn't work and when i try to
log into the domain it says " Unable to Log On the system cannot log you on
to the domain because the system's computer account in its primary domain is
missing or the password on that account is incorrect. My domain password is
correct and in Active Directory the computer account is not X out and I can
ping it. And thats about all the communication I can get from domain to
local PC. Any help would be great. And unfortunatly blow the box away is not
an option. Thanks
