local backup of FP

This got lost in an earlier thread:

Want to make sure I understand.
Can I copy the Inetpub directory to backup media and then restore a web that
has been damaged/lost by copying from that backup media by just copying the
Inetpub directory from the backup to a hard drive that has FrontPage
installed?

No. You have to restore the inetpub to exact location that IIS was installed to, this has nothing to
do with the location of FP on your system.
