fujitsu Siemens Celsius 670 XEON is the model of the computer im workin on
here.. it is completely blank as of now.. when trying to load xp onto it, it
will go through all the motions, and at the end it just says that it cannot
reconize the hard drives...

dont know much about working on computers, so this has me totally lost.
About all the info i could give ya right now. there's 3 hard drives, ive
tried to unplug all but one and tried that trick someone told me to try, but
nothing. Anyone have any ideas??

Tried that, it says it detects them, but only list one in the bios...

Though the drive could be bad of course...
check the jumpers to be sure they are correct

you may also want to try a different data cable

those 80wire IDE ribbons are pretty frail

Perhaps you need to install drivers, using the F6 option early in the winxp
installation.
I believe they are scsi drives.

yes they are scsi's.. theres 3, 2 fujitsu's i believe, and one seagate.

my dad does MRI and these computers were used to run that machine. They
upgrade every year, or two.. and the computer guy from the hostpital had
given them to my dad for free. He was to take them home, wipe them out,
remove the windows nt, and install xp. The one was never touched, and since
it had worked and was able to get the xp loaded, my sister uses it now.. and
mine had been wiped out by this computer guy i guess, and for some personal
reasons, he wasnt able to finish the job, and dad just brought them home.
From what ive been told there well worth keepin.. but with my lack of know
how with computers its been tough.

Thanks for all the info
