I have two hard drives. My OS (WINxp licensed to me) is installed in the
primary drive. I wish to add a third SATA hard drive which I intend to use as
my primary drive. Can I just transfer the OS from the existing drive to the
new drive?
Can I have OS installed in more than one drive?
If I install the OS on the new drive, do I need to re-activate?

As long as XP currently has the controller for the 3rd SATA in it's
hardware configuration. Basically, you'll just "Clone" the existing XP
to the new SATA and change your BIOS drive boot sequencing to
the new Drive number (Disk1,2 or 3). You'll need a Disk Mgmt tool
that does a bit-by-bit copy and ensure the new cloned partition is set
Active.
