loading MS Office on Windows XP

Help, when loading MSO 2000 std, Windows XP doesn't
recognize a file that is on the CD. The path is
pfiles\common\system\MAPI\1033\CNFNOT32.exe. The files
is exists, but is not recognized by XP. What do I do?
