lnking HTML pages to powerpoint

I have created a powerpoint presentation, in which I have included a
link to a web page. The link works fine but if a user has an open
browser window, the contents of the page open in this browser, behind
the ppt window.
the page can only be viewed if the ppt presentation is stopped.

CAN ANYONE HELP, PLEASE?
