Liverpool info

I was just wondering whether any of you would know about Liverpool - specifically, the University? A friend (who is in the USA) thinks that his daughter may be interested in spending a semester at Liverpool Uni, so he is basically looking for a bit of info.

I've already given him the Uni website of course, but any thoughts or informed opinions would be most welcome.

Southport is 12 miles away ...

Liverpool is quite a tourist attraction, has a lot to offer, not just great universities.
