proper return channels. If you had, you would have probably had your new
drive already. It's obvious that you don't care about getting a new drive;
you only want to create a sensation, out of nothing, for whatever unknown

Yeah, I think she's one of those chirpy crusader types trying to "do
something for the common good", at least in her own mind. Too bad nobody

CUSTOMER SERVICE and WARRANTY. It is about HONORING a contract.

Since Newegg took your money, why not let them earn their money and deal
with this for you? That's what "retail" is all about.

business Newegg can disclaim the warranty and let the manufacturer handle
it if they want to.

And they'd stay in bussiness how long if they did this? I've NEVER had any
proble with newegg RMAing defective mechandise. This guy never even
contacted newegg!

Well that is his problem, I always handle any warranty problems regardless of
the situation. I don't have to though but I do.

Yes, but we're not talking about a warranty issue. The device didn't
work correctly out of the box. If newegg sold a defective device they
are responsible for sorting it out.
