linksys vpn and ip helper?

Hello I got a BEFVP41 router, I am able to do ipsect tunnels with a
remote cisco firewall. Most of my offices have 1700s cisco router which
has ip helper, This allows me to use the local dhcp in the remote
offices and register all 2000/xp clients in dns. Does anyone know how
to get around this issue?
If I use the linksys and use the dhcp built in the linksys router I
dont think the clients will register and i might have problems joinin
the domain. Does anyone know if there is a windows 2000 dhcp helper i
could use in the remote offices, or should i use the local dhcp to
assign ips intead of the linksys dhcp?

Thanks.

You'll have to use a different subnet and route between the subnets. Are you
seeing any issues with your sites that your bridging across the VPN? I've
never done a bridge across a VPN, just wondering how the performance is and
if there are any issues?

I ve never had any issues with the vpn using ipsec and cisco, but i am
specting issues, because if i use the linksys dhcp, i doubt that the
workstations ips will be updated in the dns, i can use a local dhcp but
i would rather just use the one in the main site.

Using the Linksys DHCP will not update DNS. If fact you should choose (might
have to) a different subnet. You'll need to define an ACL for IPSec traffic.
You could nat before hitting the tunnel but it makes the config more
confusing and I don't think a Linksys can even do that.
