linksys router

harold

I was used to video chat and talk instead of typing but
since i use a linksys hpro-200 i'm unable to video again.
i use a p-4 1.8a adsl modem and the router.maybe
something is blocked and i would appreciate help .

Hi Harold

Your Modem must have the DHCP turned off and the Linksys Router will set this up. You could have both units trying to set up the DHCP IP's. Disconnect the rounter and set it up to be able to see the net. Once you have done this... change the modem to Disable the DHCP by checking it off. Reconnect the Linksys Router and set it up to be on all the time and make sure that you have the correct Provider configuration settings EX. PPOE or Broadband ethernet.
