Links not showing as visited

Folks,

My visited links usually come and go. I had the problem
with a corrupt history file before and have used the
instructions posted, but the problem stays. I have admin
rights but I don't remember what I did last year to sort
it out, and I have tried some suggestions posted in the
past while, but the problem stays.

A bad TIF index will do just that. Start a fresh one.
