Color of visited links

On some of the pages of my site I have links linking to anchors on the same
page. (in particular
http://www.svss-uspda.ch/de/berichte_meinungen/frauen.htm).

unfortunately with IE6 all of these links appear as if they had already been
visited, although they have not been clicked, and they remain so when the
page is visited again later.
This is not the case with IE7, only the visited anchor links appear as
visited (unfortunately they appear as not visited when the page is visited
again later, but this is a bit less troublesome).
Best is firefox: only individually clicked anchor links appear as visited
and they stay so when the page is visited later.

Why is IE6 unable to interpret correctly the command
a:visited {color: #800080; text-decoration:none;} ???

Can I do anything to make these links appear in the same way as with
firefox? by changing the html script?

I checked and everything is as you say it should be. Obviously that is not
the problem. I just think IE6 is not able to interpret correctly the command
" a:visited {color: #800080; text-decoration:none;} "

must I change the a:visited command in order to make IE6 read it as I want
it to: only those anchor links (anchors on the same page!) actually clicked
should change their color to visited.
