Links from home page opening in new window

I've created a site in Frontpage 2003, more by luck than skill.

When I open it in IE6, it seems fine, but if I'm on the home page and click a link to go to another page of the site, that new page opens in a new window. It only happens with my site,and only from the home page, so I think it's a problem with how I created the site or the page in FP rather than a problem with my settings in IE. It also only happens once: I never get more than 2 windows in total. Help !

Right-click the link. In the pop up box, select target frame, use _self.

Many thanks. The links were in a link bar in a shared border, so I couldn't get at this by right-clicking the link, but I was sure you were on the right track so I tried right-clicking on the index page and changed the target frame under page properties.

That glitch had been bugging me for 2 weeks - I should have joined the forum earlier !
