Linking pdf files to Word 2003 document

I have a Word 2003 document where I have inserted hyperlinks to a collection
of pdf files. I have loaded the files onto a CD for distribution to my
colleagues. This works beautifully for my colleagues with standard Office
package and Acrobat Reader but not some colleagues who also have Adobe
Acrobat Professional 7.0 installed locally. Which they click on the link the
system tries to open the pdf (just a flash on the screen) and then returns to
the Word 2003 document. Is there some clash here? Can it be something in the
pdf file name that is causing the problem?--

This newsgroup is for discussion of and questions and answers about
Microsoft Access database software, and not about Microsoft Word, Adobe
Acrobat Reader, nor Adobe Acrobat -- and I'd wager that you would have a
much higher probability of getting the answer in a newsgroup dedicated to
one of the products you are using. I'd suggest Adobe's website as a first
choice of places to try to find the answer.
