Linking Not Expected format

I am trying to link to a log file in Faxman system. It's a
log file, however recognized as a dbase IV file in Access.
It gives me an "External file is not in the expected
format" error. Does anyone know how to correct this? Do I
possibly need a new driver?

Is it *really* a dBaseIV file??
How do you know?

Try copying it and placing it in a folder and then re-name everything (file
and paths) to use DOS 8.3 file format.
e.g.

C:\MyDocs\MyFile.dbf
