Linking Access to Excel

Hi,

I have trouble to link a table from Access to Excel. Usually I did thin in
previous work place by copy the Access table and using the 'paste special' ->
paste link, I did it very easily and populate the data. Now it is giving me
'#NAME?" error when I linking the table from access to excel. Is there any
configurations I missing in excel in order to do this. IT also shows me an
error in the formula bar " The formula contains unrecognized text". Any help
really appreciated.

Hi Lin,
in Excel 2003 you can use the Data command on the file menu to link to a
table or query in an access database.
Data | Import External Data | Import Data
and navigate to your access table or query.
