Access 2007 linked to data from Excel 2007

How do create a table link from Excel 2007 data fields to a Access 2007 Table
Field? I have selected the range and then copied to the clipboard and then
pasted Special but the Link option will not highlight and thus it is just a
straight cut and paste with no updating ability.
