I have 4 users on my computer including Guest. When someone on my computer changes their personal settings, the settings for the other 3 change as well. How do I stop this linking accounts?
The only places that accounts should be linked are in the actual installed progams, and the locations for their shortcuts. The shortcuts that apply to all users are in:
Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu
Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop
If you need to, copy the shortcuts that you don't want removed to Documents and Settings\<Username>\Start Menu (or Desktop)
