How do I create a link that will open up Outlook Express to
microsoft.public.windowsxp.general when clicked on, i.e.,
like a URL address does?

Although I don't use Outlook Express as it is so outdated
and lacking in advanced features I believe all you have to
do is click the "add a news group" or some such thing.
Then you may have to configure the IP stuff differently
for the News Groups. For instance your may have e:mail
configured to smtp.whoever.net and you will need to change
this setting for the news group to news.whoever.net.
Contacting your Internet Provider is the easiest way to
assist you in configureing Outlook or Outlook Express for
news groups contacts. Keep smiling.

How do I create a link that will open up Outlook Express to
....assuming OE is the default newsreader.
