Hello,

I have a computer with DSL broadband and Windows XP.

Now, I need to simulate a low-link bandwith to test a program.

I would like to simulate a 56 Kb connection but my link is much higher (1
Mbps).

Does anyone know how to do, if there is a software for this?

Thanks very much,

There are a number of wonderful people who can likely answer the question
better than I and they've not been awarded the MVP title yet and may never
be. They may have turned down such an award or they may have conflicting
interests. My own personal choices when I want to test a program with
limited bandwidth (or higher bandwidth simulations) is to do it within a
VMware environment.
