Link-Layer Topology Discovery (LLTD) Responder problem with SP3

I have a problem with SP3 involving the Link-Layer Topology Discovery (LLTD)
Responder.
With SP2 this was installed by downloading a hot fix KB922120. When I
applied SP3 everything worked normally.
But on one system I reinstalled XP SP2 and applied SP3 without KB922120
(since it is suppose to be contained in SP3) and I can not find the LLTD.
Does anyone konw how to enable this? This enables the XP machine to appear on
the network map of a Vista system. Thanks.

KB922120 is not part of XPSP3, the current package(meant for XPSP2) wont
install on XPSP3. Wait till the package is out for XPSP3 or install KB922120

If you look at the list of fixes included in XP SP3, KB922120 is among them.
However, I find no evidence that it is. I have found a way to install it by
copying the files of KB922120 into the Windows and System32 folders and
running the Rspndr application.

Dear all I Re-interate at this unsightly time in the mornonng that if you
bother to click on the linlk to my blog
http://x3webworx3.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!E40FC8E37C2475AE!234.entry you
will see that if you follow those instructions you will get LLTD working on a
SP3 fresh intall whilst Paul B posts a link to yet V5 of the LLTD which will
not install on SP3. If you requaset V6 from LLTD from microsoft go right ahed
and wait 200 years and the pain fo speaking to people that wont understand
you issue as its been proven here and many otehr official Microsft support
places.

My solution takes a n00b 2 minutes flat to get LLTD worrking on SP3 but dont
trust me trust PAUL B he clearly knows best.

How about this problem with transferring files (VISTA-only) over the network
- copy, cut/paste, move etc. I have tried many tings disable/enable, check
marks, indexing, UAC and all of this stuff.
41Mb take about 8min this is something wrong with this new OS. To move 380GB
was 26 Hours comparing to XP was 58 min on the same Network so what is the
problem so, far I have found no fix to that.

Best to post in the Vista groups. SP1 for Vista addresses some issues
with file transfers/network.

Thanks, But it gave me an error, Tried The MS Hot Fix and got the same error.
Both said "The updatebr.inf file is invalid" . I am running Win XP Pro X64
for the OS. Is there a compatibility problem? Any help would be appreciated.

Go to the link for the V6 Hotfix, and request it. It works, and takes less
than 2 mins
