Link Icons - Help!

Some of the web pages I visit have cute little icons when
you save a link on their page...I like to have those
icons in my links bar...but suddenly some of them are
turning into the stupid ugly IE page icon, or it won't
save the cute website icon when I go back to it, although
I can tell it's trying to since the IE page it uses for
the icon looks different than the other pages....

Does anyone know how I can get the page links to save
WITH the icons? I can't seem to figure out just what
setting I have that's making it spaz out!! Thanks...

It is not a setting.
Favicons are only temporary until cleared from your cache.
To make them permanent:
