link bar properties

I am using a link bar based on navigation and if you have a link bar going
down the left frame and one accross the top of the page and you change the
properties of one of them...it changes the other. (parent, child, etc. it
doesn't matter..it throws them off)
Should I be looking at the hyperlinks? Something is not done correctly. (I
am helping someone with this and didn't build it originally)

Each nav bar (link) bar) is independent
- right click it to select link/nav bar properties
