Link Bar Properties

Got one of those nagging problems with FrontPage that I'm sure is easy to
overcome but cannot work it out.

I have several amounts of buttons with links at the top of my pages which
are set in Link Bar Properties as "Child Pages Under Home". For the majority
of the web this is exactly as I need it, but, on some of the Child level
pages I would like to just show the other Child's and not Parents and Home.

I can set these few pages in Link Bar Properties to "Same Level" which
displays the buttons I require...........but.........this then changes it
globally for the whole of the site.

Can anybody please let me know how to change the Link Bar Properties per
page and not just globally.

Thanks in advance..

Hi steve

A mate of mine had this same problem I will try and get in touch with him to
ask him how he sorted it.

However, that only control whether the shared border appears on the specific
page, any content within the shared border will appear on all pages using
that specific shared border, and you can only have single one of each top,
bottom, left or right shared border within a web.

Done it.............

To overcome it I have simply removed the shared border from the individual
page and copied/pasted the link bar to the top of the page along with the
header banner (hence not within a shared border), this will allow a change
in the link bar properties without affecting any other link bar on other
pages within my web....

Thanks for the help.

Steve Wilko.
