lines typing in bold

I am creating a form in Word and typing in lines but Word keeps showing them
in bold. How can I make it type exactly what I put in?

You'd need to format the form field with the format you want to use.

If this isn't working for you, please provide more detailed information

- version of Word
- location of the form field (in text, its own paragraph, table cell, frame...)
- steps you took to format the form field
- format of the text either side of the form field
