Everything is bold.

I am working in Microsoft Word and everything I am typing or copying into the
program is bold. My bold button is not on and even when I click it,
everything remains bold. Can someone tell me what to do? (In simple words
please, seeing as I am not too advanced with computers.)
 
Is it possible that you're set to use a font that's really thick and
dark? What happens if you switch to a different font?
 
What is your View | Zoom ratio? Sometimes text looks much bolder at higher
Zooms.
 
I've tried using different fonts and that doesn't change anything.
 
I changed the Zoom and it went back to normal.
