Line In Control

Does anyone know how to add the Line In and Microphone controls to the Volume
Control panel?

Failing this is there anyway of getting a shortcut to bring them up;
preferrably from the system tray?

Going via the control Panel everytime is a PIA.

Open volume control panel..options..properties and put a check in the ones
you want to show.

Thanks Ricky but I've been there. When I select the recording tab I get a
separate window with Line In and Microphone on it. I suppose this is better
than using the Control panel but I was hoping to just open the Volume Control
and find them all listed. It used to be so. Never mind and thanks again for
the response.

Double click the speaker icon and it'll open on the desktop. All settings
are there & available.

Thanks pop but that does not cut the mustard!

In widows XP Home all I get on double clicking the speaker are controls for
Vol, Wave, SW Synth, CD Player, Input Monitor and Mono Mix in a Sigma Tel
Audio window.

I then have to go OPTIONS/PROPERTIES, select RECORDING and tick LINE IN &
MICROPHONE.

This brings up a new window with only these two controls in it AND it CLOSES
the first window which has to be opened again to have access to all controls.

Thanks for the try though.
