I want to set up a couple limited user accounts for my children. I want to
make it that they can NOT access the internet from their accounts. Is this
possible? And if so, I need idiot proof instructions on how to limit the
access to programs as well.
Simple to some but got me confused....thanx in advance.

More info is needed here but some general stuff >>>
Assuming you use high-speed internet connection (LAN/DSL/Cable) . Then when
you are logged on with Admin account , disable the connection
Control Panel -> Network connections and right click on all high-speed
connections -> Disable
This way you disable the hardware . If your children are using the PC with
limited accounts , they cannot enable them again

When you log on back to your admin , enable them again and don't forget to
disable them again if the children are using it ;)
You can even create shortcuts on yoru desktop for quicker access

And if so, I need idiot proof instructions on how to limit the
access to programs as well.

Please , visit my web-site
http://pandaman.my.contact.bg

and read "Protect your PC" and "Admin/Parental control" sections

You can also search for NetNanny software in Google (www.google.com)
or MSN's parental control stuff for more advanced control. After you read
all pages , do what described and talk to your childer and establish riles
for using the internet and so on ... :)
