Limited Users and Norton Personal Firewall

I am running XP Home and have Norton Personal Firewall 2003 (as part of the
Norton Internet Security package) installed. In addition to my own Admin
User Account, I have two other User Accounts set-up (for my children).
These are currently both Admin Accounts but I want to change them to Limited
User Accounts. Whenever I do so, however, the Limited User Accounts
encounter a problem with Norton Personal Firewall: it runs as disabled on
account log-in and when it is then started manually the error message "Driver
Initialization failed" appears and certain functions will not work. When I
convert the User Accounts back to Admin Accounts, everying runs normally
again. Does anyone know of a solution?

I have XP Pro (formatted as FAT32) and for some reason ICQ won't run
in my User account either unless I right click it and choose "Run as"
.... then I get a dialog box that allows me to choose the Administrator
account. When I choose the Administrator account I have to type in
the Administrator password and then the program works ok. The problem
with that solution is that your kids would have to know the Admin
password (assuming XP Home is similar to XP Pro in this regard).

The only other thing I can think of is giving each of the "Users"
permission to use Norton Personal Firewall (or in your case Norton
Internet Security Package) files; your file system has to be
formatted as NTFS for that solution to work.

I hope that this will give you a start.
