Limited accounts can't open IE 6.0

As the "Administrator" acccount owner, I have no problem
opening the browser. However, my wife or sons can't open
the browser. They get the following error
msg, "Microsoft C++ Runtime Library" Error; The
application has requested runtime close it in an unusual
way". The IT specialist at work has no idea what this
could be. Does anyone have an answer to what this is and
how to fix it, thanks!

This may be a browser parasite problem.

Download, install, *update* and run both of these programs:
Ad-aware from http://www.lavasoft.de/software/adaware/
Spybot from http://security.kolla.de/ (Remove items listed in red-others are
optional.)
Both programs should be updated after installation- before use.

Common Name http://www.doxdesk.com/parasite/CommonName.html causes an error
of this type. Ad-aware and Spybot will remove CN and many other malware
programs.

Another possibility:
From Internet Options> Advanced, if you have Sun Java and microsoft VM
(virtual machine) uncheck Sun Java.
